Pottery Programs for Children in Our Community: The first post was so great I'm not sure what to say for the second, but I'll give it a shot.

Pottery and Community Arts Programs for Children

When a creator creates, whether it be music, a Van Gogh, a Picasso, or even a Picasso Frappe at Starbucks Coffee, allow them the opportunity to create. I remember my Community pottery class as an 11 year old. I showed up on time, was innocent as an Angel, so eager to learn new things...precious as a green Jade stone from British Columbia French Arcadia. My Community Teacher was amazing, the equipment the City provided with the work space, the chairs, the art tables, the beautiful and colorful peer works decorating the walls near the Odessa (RUSSIA) Brown Clinic in Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs and CAYA vs Community Youth Independent Programs

The Young Men's Christian Association became the spinal column of American nucleus to engage communities and give a foundation to socialize and mingle as well as fund healthy programs supporting the basic necessities of public welfare in the United States.

Extra curricular activities are based on physical exertion of the major muscle groups needed to support a healthy active lifestyle for babies, toddlers, adolescents, children, youth, young adults, adults, mature adults, geriatric elders, and coaches nourished to look after the next generation of their own family members and community friends and loved ones. This sort of recycling process worked as a system of comfort and family-based healthcare giving rites to each community to practice caring for one another. Basically, a values system.

The Young Men's Christian Association fosters activities in sports such as swimming, basketball, and soccer while providing facilities and equipment for small fees of membership. This system created a sense of belonging, socializing, and support that all age groups could become comfortable depending on as their best friend away from home or utilized as home away from home.

Other programs offered by the YMCA are family-oriented to greet a variety of age groups such as Yoga classes, Leadership classes, Lifeguard classes, CPR classes, swimming classes, water park management classes or certification in related areas, and HIPAA healthcare privacy certification classes or training for medical service providers.

CAYA

Central Area Youth Association is an established Metropolitan Urban-City Area organization providing after school programs securing opportunities for Coaches and Athletes alike. Coaches more than likely are parents of some of the athletes or Alumni graduated from semi-professional community sports teams (i.e., baseball, softball, soccer, cricket, volleyball, swimming).

Boys & Girls Clubs

Due to the fact that America is made up of Immigrants, our country must cater to global cultures and the diverse learning types of children and their families enjoying the culture of American society including creating many programs that accommodate those differences.

The Boys & Girls Clubs are in partnership with our local law enforcement agencies that in turn offer peace of mind in allowing loved ones to venture out into the community and participate in all that scholarship programs, arts & crafts programs, education programs, and sports or extra curricular after school programs have to offer.

Boys & Girls Clubs are mostly youth membership-based in structure and serve that purpose solely.
Equipped with Coaches, and old-fashioned arcade-style facilities that youth may count on to end up at whenever they choose. Allowing the right of Youth to practice and exercise their rites to make choices fosters the behavior of empowerment in their communities. This aspect of inspiring Youth across America was established by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, one of the grandest programs and after school systems currently still in operation.

Independent Arts and Crafts Community Programs

Parents need no transportation and no expensive gasoline to escort their child to local pottery and arts & crafts classes taught by teachers from all communities. The more your neighbors see your faces on each block teaching something to one another, the more socialization occurs and People learn something new.

As a child for example, after taking pottery classes I were capable of activities involving ceramics and glass-blowing. I became capable of painting with water colors, acrylics, mixing and matching diverse colors to create a beautiful pallet of a world of dreams on one canvas. Expressing my imagination on canvas instilled a sense of multiculturalism that is a valuable lesson in a child's future as an adult and later as a professor.

My teacher according to the culture of what's popular and respected in my community at that time, taught me how to perfect my talents of painting and creating utilizing graphite and other materials. My community arts teacher then taught me how to make clay wet, alter its color to my liking, utilize motor and neurology skills to mold clay into designs that create plates, Aztecan dishes, and the kinds of $700 dishes collectors bid on at auctions.

I left the clay baking class with comprehension of contructing my own teacups by the time I was eleven years of age. Within a couple years I became inspired by that community arts class to sit at the edge of a 200 ft. Snoqualmie Falls cliff whilst peacefully drawing the natural landscape environment right before my eyes with the beautiful sounds of water pouring and clashing into the river bank beneath me (www.snoqualmiefalls.com). To make reservations, get directions or ask questions regarding planning your hiking trip, spa venture, or next honeymoon call (360) 421-5849, Located: 6501 Railroad Ave., Snoqualmie, WA, USA, 98065, Area: Salish Lodge & Spa at the Watercourse (Wikipedia) Snoqualmie River, Hours of Operation: 12AM-11:59PM 7 days per week. After my experiences at Snoqualmie Falls, that peace of mind and comfort will last forever.

Childhood Competitions and Getting Discovered Professionally

Enrolled in a 10th-grade arts class, the high school arts teacher inspired creation of a Malaysian driftwood piece of work first, and then a burning Alabama church with an African American Reverend in 3-D graphite. The first work of art became externally nominated by my adolescent Arts Teacher for submission into the NAACP (Olympics of the Mind) Visual Arts competition that won a gold medal at age 16. The second work of art became internally nominated by my high school for display with other talented artists on all the windows throughout the hallways for peer students to enjoy.

Sponsored by Eddie Bauer: the leader in conservative clothing for the sophisticated class of American professionals and Select Special Edition brands of Elegant Ford SUV vehicles, I became a big fan of the conservatives and leaders of America (receiving my first courtesy credit card with a couple thousand dollars limit).

I earned college scholarships of several thousands of dollars for that one day's competition (15 minutes approximately). Sponsorship included all expenses-paid airline flights with hotel and lodging to International Competitions as well as transportation in upon arrival to other cities such as Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA to compete with over 3,000 visual artists from across the world including Cuba, Refugee Camps of Africa, Morrocco, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, and of course other Americans.

1996 at International Competition in Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Participating in an international competition gave me the opportunity to meet and greet talented peers in the industry of Arts and Sciences in an Olympic context, and observe their unique cultural qualities as well as enjoy lectures presented by the host of the event, CEO of the NAACP at that time (1996-2004) Kweisi Mfume, former U.S. House of Representatives (1987-1996) "5-time Democratic Congressman of Baltimore County serving in the 100th through 104th Congress" (Wikipedia, 2016).

Boeing Headquarters of America - My Hometown

The experience of travelling on airplanes became my favorite thing to do, and getting used to doing it without my mother holding my hand as an escort was a bit creepy, but I somehow managed over time. I experienced eating a gourmet Southern meal at the famous Pittsburgh restaurant owned by Sylvia.

In the international competition with multi-million dollar sponsors supporting me, my only weakness was admiring my competitors instead of presenting my own self for the gold medal. Blessed to come from the headquarters of Boeing, after a miserable waste of time and resources I was the only person aware of the value of friendship upon arrival back into the Pacific Northwest.

Miss Teen America Sponsorship 1996 - Its a Job.

One week prior to the gold medal win from the NAACP Visual Arts Competition (Olympics of the Mind), I had won the gold medal and scholarship with its own territory and other sponsors now eligible to enter into the Miss America Pageant. With obligations of the contract my mother allowed me to sign with her blessings, I became obligated to present myself at the locations of the work itinerary issued to me. The work itinerary included Nationally televised parades escorted by the United States Air Force Pilots Performers ("Blue Angels"), Local law enforcement, and members of the United States Navy.

Love thy Neighbor and Thy Workforce or Competitors

Showing up to work when you work for 60 different companies at the same time may arise conflict between organizations. Sharing one person becomes a bit of a pickle (a hassle). However, companies are professional and maintained this upright character toward myself which taught me to present my personality in the same thoughtful and patient manner of peace-keeping and forgiveness.

The work itinerary taught me variety, work ethic, decency, and capacity to change myself to accommodate different environments in the majority as well as sustain a humble presentation in the minority of any context of circumstance.

CAYA - Central Area Youth Association

After obtaining the gold medal and title of Miss Teen America representing the State of Washington at age 16, the stepping stone gave me eligibility 2 weeks shortly thereafter (during my new one year contract for the first competition, and the second gold medal involving the NAACP), whereas I became nominated to enter a Qualifying competition for the Miss America Pageant (eligible to enter 2 years ahead of time legally according to law by holding the qualifying title for 24 months before the event) in 1996-1997.

Breakfast with Bill Gates, Guru of Microsoft

Upon nomination into the Qualifying Miss America Pageant competition, I then competed with senior-year academic graduates of the University of Washington (for resume purposes) as a child of 16 or 17 years of age with Parent Consent forms signed discreetly.

During the competition I were able to meet, enjoy, and observe other intelligible and wealthy contestants that were far beyond my age from countries such as INDIA, and other wonderful ladies. As part of our responsibilities as contestants we attended a black-tie gala breakfast at 605 feet in the air of the Penthouse inside the revolving restaurant at the Space Needle (SkyCity Restaurant: Space Needle, Seattle, WA, USA) located at 400 Broad St., Seattle, WA, 98109, For Reservations Call: (206) 905-2100 or Toll Free: 1-800-937-9582, Hours of Operation: 10AM-9:30PM.

Tiny Houses

A lot of changes can occur in many communities by participating in ways most of you would have never guessed would gain appreciation to last a lifetime by other members of your community as well as your very own neighbors.

The old saying "A little goes a long way" (Unknown source) really applies to this context in that We all have something valuable to give to others and may not have realized it. Tiny houses or trips to Home Depot can inspire creation of office-building structures, classrooms on vacant parking lot space, and food drives weekly, monthly, and during all American holidays. Your service to others even with a canopy tent could change their lives.

Inspiration for Motivation

It's just a matter of looking at a thing from a different direction, and we will see things from a new perspective (Sakhi, 2015).
